Advice for travels to and on the Cape Verde islands

Upon recommendation of our Cabo Verde Embassy, we established the travel agency M+M Inselreisen (Island Travels) in 1994.

At that time, we benefitted of the upcoming tourism and built up contacts with local incoming agencies for roundtrips and trekking tours, so as to acquire extensive know-how in these fields.

As we now stopped arranging inclusive tours, but wanted to use our touristic experience, we are offering a travel advice service attached to our consulate activities.

Thanks to our good knowledge of the islands and their infrastructure, as well as of transport and accomodation facilities, we are in a position to propose travel programmes which fit with the wishes of the traveler and also with local conditions.

Our task thus consists in advising Cabo Verde visitors for their travel programme, their accomodation and their transport.

School partnership Furpach - Nhagar

About 10 years ago, our Honorary Consulate created a partnership between the primary school of Furpach (district of Neunkirchen in Saarland) and the primary school of Nhagar (near the town of Assomada, Concelho of Santa Catarina, Santiago Island).

Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Cabo Verde

This partnership is for the exchange of information (also visual) between the teachers and of handicraft articles between the children. At the school's Christmas Party, the parents and the teachers of the Furpach school also rise funds for Nhagar, for the local purchase of stationery, pedagogic material and sport articles. Donations from our travel clients are also welcome. Please ask us.
